Dawn Belkin Martinez, PhD, LICSW, Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion, Clinical Associate Professor, Boston University School of Social Work. Faculty Affiliate, BU Center for Antiracism Research. Dr. Belkin Martinez is an internationally recognized expert in radical social work practice, social justice pedagogy, and liberation health.  Her book, “Social Justice in Clinical Practice: A Liberation Health Framework for Social Work” is used in social work schools across the country.  Formerly an instructor in psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School, Dawn has more than 30 years’ experience in popular education, family therapy, and antiracist / liberation health practice with immigrant communities. She writes, teaches, and consults with local, national, and international organizations about racial capitalism, social justice, and activism as a therapeutic intervention.
