Catherine Piedad is a survivor advocate. She is a survivor of labor trafficking whose story was featured in the Boston Globe in 2015. She has been a leading advocate and speaker in the local and national community, including efforts to raise awareness about an app created by BU for labor trafficking investigators. She has spoken about human trafficking at venues in New Jersey, Texas, and Massachusetts.
