Use of term ‘refugee’ insensitive
I was surprised to see 但是今天 (9月8日) join some television news reporters in referring to Americans affected by Katrina as "refugees." Specifically, you referred to our Tulane students as "academic refugees." Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary defines refugees as "those from another country who seek refuge." 把我们的同胞称为难民增加了人们对这些公民的看法，以及为什么我们的政府对飓风的反应太少、太迟的广泛问题。
