How to Apply

The Admissions Committee, composed of representatives of the Arts Administration faculty and administrative staff, evaluates application credentials and makes decisions regarding admission to a graduate degree or certificate program. Emphasis is placed upon the applicant’s demonstrated scholastic ability, academic aptitude for graduate study in management, maturity, previous work experience, and career potential.

Admissions Timetable

Admission is normally granted for September and January of each year. The Admissions Committee meets on a continuing basis to review completed applications and render prompt admission decisions. Admission is granted on a rolling basis. Domestic students (US citizens and permanent US residents) should apply no later than December 15 for entry to the spring semester and by August 1 for the fall semester. To allow for processing time, applicants requiring student visas must apply by October 15 for the spring semester, or by June 1 for the fall semester.

Interviews

While we do not require interviews for acceptance into the graduate degree or certificate programs, we encourage prospective students to schedule an interview through online videoconferencing. In the case of international students, this is strongly encouraged. International students can expedite their application by arranging for an interview, as these candidates are considered first in the admissions cycle.
