“The Future of South-South Economic Relations†was an all-day conference led by Director of the Pardee Center Professor Adil Najam and Rachel Denae Thrasher, a fellow at the center, and assembling experts from around the world to discuss [...]emerging economic relations among developing countries. The third panel discussed trade and economic integration in Africa and Latin America, and economic relations between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and emerging Asia. This conference is part of a larger project headed by Najam and Thrasher that will culminate in a 2011 book.
