November's Advising Network Brown Bag Lunch event featured a demonstration of the Faculty [...]and Faculty/Staff Link’s built-in electronic advising notes feature (Student Notes), followed by panelist perspectives and audience discussion of Notes as an advising tool. Attendees learned more about the use of Student Notes across the undergraduate schools and colleges, and shared their personal experiences.
As advisors, we want to provide excellent support and guidance for our students. Let’s be sure we are taking advantages of the tools that can make our work easier along the way.

See the challenges our students face in correctly paraphrasing, summarizing, and documenting their source material, and better understand how we can help students avoid plagiarism.
