Computational Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Faculty Survey Launched

Wesley Wildman (School of Theology) and Neha Gondal (CAS-Sociology), members of the Faculty of Computing and Data Sciences, have worked on identifying Boston University faculty who are using computational and data-science methods in the humanities, arts, and social sciences. They aim to bring such faculty into conversation with one another to create a faculty network with potential for collaboration.

In light of those goals, they would like to know more about your work, your interest in participating in such a network, and your ideas for the kinds of network activities that would be valuable. They have created a short survey to collect that information, and would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill it out. Please note that computational and data-science methods (our interest here) are distinguishable from digitizing primary sources to facilitate access and searching (a vital adjunct to research but not our focus here).
