More than 25 BU graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and faculty, from a dozen departments or schools including sociology, economics, medicine, engineering, social work, rehabilitative sciences and more, as well as the Office of Research and Foundation Relations,  joined to listen to Appleby’s insights into the future of aging research, policy and practice. 与会者亦作了简短的澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究总结,并就如何扩大其澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究的影响,以及建立富有成效的教学和澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究合作进行了热烈的讨论。

The event participants showcased the work of many institutions and programs at BU dedicated to aging research, including the BUMC Geriatrics program directed by 霍利斯·戴博士, the BU Center on Aging led by co-director Slava Labunskyy, 老龄与残疾教育与澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究中心 directed by 布朗温麻醉品e, and the 新英格兰百岁种马y co-directed by Stacey Andersen. The meeting was co-organized by 黛博拉·卡尔 (CISS director and A&S Distinguished Professor of Sociology), Judith Gonyea (Professor, School of Social Work), 布朗温麻醉品e (Research Associate Professor, School of Social Work), and 罗珊娜·吴 (Assistant Professor and Medical Director, Nursing Home Program,  Geriatrics, BUSM). 这次会议只是未来全校范围合作的开始,重点是老龄化澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究和实践!
