CAS Announces Society of Fellows Program
CAS Dean Stan Sclaroff has launched a call for applications for Postdoctoral Scholars as part the College’s new Society of Fellows. The program is designed to support outstanding early-career scholars from diverse backgrounds who are pursuing interdisciplinary research. The program will match postdoctoral scholars with faculty mentors across A&S and include opportunities for teaching, professional development, and interdisciplinary networking. Fellows will be selected from a wide range of disciplines, including the social sciences. CAS anticipates having five scholars in our inaugural year, which will begin September 1, 2022. The postdoctoral scholars will be appointed for two years, with an option of renewal for a third year. The program will also be inviting faculty to serve as Faculty Fellows, who will help guide and develop the program. A website describing the program in more detail, including a link to the advertisement, eligibility requirements, and application materials, is here.
