Engineering Product Innovation Center Construction Activity for the Period of April 15 – April 19
Anticipated construction activities for the week of April 15 – April 19:
1. Site Work – The contractor has completed the installation of the new utility pipes that will go under the slab. They will be leveling the ground elevation to prepare for the new concrete slab.
2. Abatement – The contractor will begin the second phase of asbestos abatement on the ceiling on the first floor of 750 Comm Ave. (the old Guitar Center space).
3. Demolition – The contractor has completed the demolition of the interior walls of 750 Comm Ave and will continue to haul demolition debris out of the building.
4. Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing – The contractor has completed preparing any project-related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for subsequent demolition and/or construction.
