Engineering Product Innovation Center Construction Activity for the Period of June 17 – June 24
Anticipated construction activities for the week of June 17 – June 21:
1. 744 Commonwealth Ave – The contractor will be performing the following activities:
a. Continue to frame the walls and construct on the new ramp that will connect building 744 Comm and 750 Comm
b. Continue to install the new electric wiring
c. On the roof, the contractor will continue laying out the locations of the new HVAC equipment and begin cutting their roof openings for new equipment piping.
2. 750 Commonwealth Ave – The contractor will be performing the following activities:
a. Basement – Install new sanitary lines and vents, new electric wiring, new domestic water service.
b. 1st Floor – Install new electrical wiring, HVAC ductwork and piping, water service to the new bathrooms, and new ceiling elements.
c. 2nd Floor – Relocate existing piping to make room for new construction running through the corridor up to the roof
d. Exterior – Continue façade demolition, begin framing for new exterior construction.
