New CS students turn out in force!

This past Thursday evening we held our kick-off event for new CS majors and minors to usher in the new academic year. Over 80 students joined us to hear presentations from Professor Wayne Snyder, and representatives from all of our student groups. Those who attended heard from BUILDS, Women in Computer Science, MakeBU, BostonHacks, and the Global App Initiative. Wonderful enthusiasm in the room throughout the night!
More of these undergraduate peer-to-peer get togethers will be coming this Fall – in a larger room – on various topics, such as Internships, Study Abroad, and others. Stay tuned!
