Managers’ Enrichment Program Sheds Light on School’s Finances

The Office of the Dean kicked off the academic year’s first Managers’ Enrichment Program (MEP) meeting with an overview of the school’s financial status. The meeting marked the first time staff saw a clear snapshot of the institution’s financial health as a result of new practices put into place by the Office of the Dean.

Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Services Linda Reed says the meeting helped managers gain a new perspective of the different roles the school plays as both an institution and a business. "The financial information shared will help everybody at the school be more financially-aware, more responsible, and work as a unit rather than as individual departments," she says.

The school started the Managers’ Enrichment Program in October 2000 to discuss staff performance, development, operations, and school improvement. The 34 MEP members meet 6 to 7 times a year.
