SNDA Volunteer Event May Help Recover Missing Children

Boston area parents now have a new tool to aid in the recovery of missing children thanks to BUGSDM’s chapter of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA).
SNDA members took dental impressions and mouth swabs of children ages two to 15 at the Child Identification Program (CHIP) event at Roxbury Community College September 22. Parents will hold onto these impressions and swabs, which would help identify their missing children in the event of a kidnapping or disappearance.
"The event was a huge success," says SNDA Vice President Kimberly Haynes. "Our members were glad to have an opportunity to participate in an event that would help Boston area families recover loved ones."
