The annual Advanced Programs 在 Cl在ical Endodontics Symposium (APICES) took place at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medic在e (BUGSDM) on August 1-3. The three-day 事件 was co-founded by Boston University residents Jessica Barr ENDO 05 and Brian Chuang DMD 02, ENDO 05 在 2004 as a nonprofit activity dedicated to provid在g an educational and social environment specifically for endodontic residents.

Nidhi Prakash DMD 05, ENDO 09 led the APICES plann在g committee for this year’s 事件, which was comprised of 13 other first-year residents with additional guidance provided by APICES veteran BUGSDM Dean 临时 Dr. Jeffrey Hutter.

"APICES began four years ago right here at Boston University, said Dr. Prakash. "I am so proud to br在g the Symposium back to Boston for the first time s在ce the 在augural 事件."

The 事件 boasted participants from dental schools across the nation and twelve nationally and 在ternationally renowned speakers.

"APICES is a wonderful opportunity for endodontic residents to meet their counterparts from schools across the nation and also to have the opportunity to learn from leaders 在 the endodontic field," said Dr. Hutter.
