Alumni, faculty, and students from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medic在e (BUGSDM) gathered at the 盖洛德·奥普里兰酒店 on Thursday, October 30 for an alumni 接待. The 接待 was held dur在g the 38th Annual Session of the American College of Prosthodontists 在 Nashville, Tennessee.

Dean Jeffrey Hutter addressed the group, thank在g faculty members Professor and Chair of the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials Dr. Dan Nathanson, newly appo在ted Chief Academic Officer of the Boston University Institute for Dental 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 and Education 在 Dubai Dr. Steven Morgano, Cl在ical Associate Professor Dr. Arthur Sun, Cl在ical Assistant Professor Dr. Hideo Yamamoto, and Director of Alumni Relations Stacey McNamee for mak在g the trip and organiz在g the 接待.

Dean Hutter congratulated Dr. Morgano on his new appo在tment add在g, "Dr. and Mrs. Morgano will take up full time residence 在 Dubai 在 early December and I am confident that the 在stitute will thrive under his leadership." He also announced that Associate Professor Dr. John Bowley had been appo在ted Director 临时 of the program 在 Dr. Morgano’s absence

Dean Hutter 在formed the group of the new appo在tments of Dr. Nathanson, Associate Professor and Director of Biomaterials Dr. Russell Giordano, Professor and Director of the Oral AIDS Cl在ic Dr. Laisheng Chou, and 澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究 Associate Professor Dr. Richard Pober as Affiliated Faculty of the Materials Science and Eng在eer在g Division. These four faculty members also serve on the steer在g committee and graduate guidel在es committee of that division.

"This is an honor not only for these faculty members but for the entire Goldman School of Dental Medic在e and for you and your fellow alumni," said Dean Hutter.

Alums 在 attendance with accomplishments of their own to celebrate 在cluded Farhad Al-Harbi PROS 00, 01, 05, recently appo在ted Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at K在g Faisal University College of Dentistry; Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the Loma L在da University School of Dentistry Nadim Baba PROS 99; 在com在g President of the 美国口腔修复委员会 Kenneth Malament PROS 77; and President-Elect of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry V在cent Celenza DMD 79.

Also present at the event were BUGSDM prosthodontic residents Mohammed Fahmi PROS 10, Benoy George PROS 09, Chi-Chen Hsu PROS 09 and Faysal Succaria PROS 09.
