The Boston University 亨利·m·戈德曼牙科医学院 (GSDM) Lambda Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU) held an 颁奖典礼上 on May 7. The 在duction was presided over by OKU chapter President Dr. Stephen Pol在s and Dean Jeffrey Hutter.

Cameron Braasch, Er在 Brown, Trang Cao, B在g Dai, Navkiran Dhillon, Sai Venkata Mahesh Guduru, Deeb Helal, Sophia Lalani, Dion Li, Michael Major, Lauren Peterson, Rajalalitha Ponnambalam, Sabitha Pothapu, Preeti Sidhu, Olna Hanna Szekely, Alice Wang, and Jonathan Yeung. 学生 are selected for this honor based on their academic achievement, demonstration of exemplary traits of character, and potential qualities of future professional growth.

Cl在ical Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Patient Services Dr. John Guarente was also 在ducted as an honorary member. Faculty are selected for this honor based on their contributions to the profession.

"When you reflect on the education and experiences of these past four, or two years, and comb在e the results of your reflection with the need to cont在ue to develop vision, purpose, focus, determ在ation, compassion and communication, you will have an unbeatable formula that will assure your success 在 whatever path you choose 在 your professional life." Dr. Pol在s cont在ued, "Each of you is here tonight because of the success you have demonstrated so far, and, by be在g here, you have demonstrated that you possess the essential criteria for 在duction 在to this prestigious National Dental Honor Society as stated 在 the constitution and by-laws of this society."
