Kerry Anzenberger DMD 09 Presented With American College of Dentists Award

Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) student Kerry Anzenberger DMD 09 was presented with the American College of Dentists Award at a luncheon held at Yankee Dental Congress 34. The award was presented to Anzenberger because she represents the American College of Dentists’ principles of high achievement, strong leadership, and high ethical standards.
During Anzenberger’s four years at BUGSDM she has been an active member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), holding several leadership roles within the organization, including her most recent position of District 1 Trustee. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Association for Women in Dentistry (AAWD), and Project Stretch, a non-profit organization that that provides dental care to underprivileged children in Central and South America. Anzenberger will travel to Mexico with Project Stretch in March. She has also participated in a number of oral health based community service projects benefiting children from local communities.
"Kerry is truly deserving of this award," said Dean Jeffrey Hutter. "Her dedication to dentistry and to helping those around her is an inspiration to all of us at BUGSDM and a great example of the many ways in which BUGSDM students can give back. I congratulate her on all that she has accomplished."
