Dr. Thomas Van Dyke Named Charter Member of NIH Study Section

Dr. Thomas Van Dyke, director of BUSDM’s Clinical Research Center, is now a charter member of the Oral, Dental and Craniofacial Sciences (OCDS) study section at the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Center for Scientific Review.

The section is the Center’s peer review board for grant applications to study oral, dental and craniofacial tissues. Members are experts in their fields and principal investigators of dental-related studies, among other qualifications.

Van Dyke will hold the position four years, attending three meetings each year.

Dr. Maria Kukuruzinska, professor of molecular and cell biology, became chair of the OCDS study section last fall.
