Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Collaborators Win ACOMS Research Award

Dr. Haitham Murad, chief resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), won third place at the Annual Scientific Conference and Exhibition of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Orlando, Florida, earlier this month.

Dr. Murad presented "Comparison of Two Treatment Methods for Mandibular Angle Fractures."

Murad completed his research with Dr. Pushkar Mehra, BUSDM assistant professor and BMC director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dr. Richard D’Innocenzo, director of OMFS predoctoral education at BUSDM.
