Congratulations Dr. Jacobson!

Dr. Zhimon Jacobson, director of the school’s Center for Implantology, received an honorary doctorate from the University of Bucharest in Romania last month. The university chose to honor him because of his significant contributions to the field of implantology.

"The way of teaching implantology, training residents, and treating patients was developed here at Boston University," says Jacobson. "It is known around the world as the ‘BU Model.’"

The school’s sixteenth annual International Symposium on Implantology will be held in Boston next May.
