Matriculation 2017

Every new academic year starts with the University’s Matriculation ceremony. This year, Matriculation is Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2pm in Agganis Arena.

As a tradition, new students wear BU red or their FYSOP t-shirts to Matriculation and walk to the to the ceremony together. Be outside of your residence hall (or for Warren Towers, out on Marsh Plaza) at the following times on Sunday:

• Kilachand Hall, Bay State Road Brownstones, 575 Commonwealth Avenue and Towers: 12:40pm
• Warren Towers: 12:45pm
• Off-Campus Students: 12:50pm
• West Campus: 1:15pm

Students should be at the arena by 1:45pm.

If your parents and family members wish to attend Matriculation, they should start up towards the arena before or after you start on your walk.

At Matriculation, you will officially become a member of the BU community. We can’t wait to see you at Agganis on Sunday!
