Toast to Class of 2011 is Now An Indoor Lawn Party

Finally, no rain.  The BU Beach (Warren Alpert Mall) is too mushy for us to even think about hosting the Champaign Reception outside. (We’re not sure mud wrestling is the proper thing to do today – maybe next time.) Don’t worry!  Time for some improv. How about an indoor lawn party?

Here are the tips you and your people need to start this afternoon’s celebrations:

• The Track and Tennis Center (TTC) is the new site for the Champaign Reception.
• Need a lift? You can get there on your own, but starting at 3:30 p.m., we’ll run shuttle buses from Marsh Plaza up to the TTC.
• Fashionably late shows some swag, but you’ll probably want to be there when we give a toast in honor of you and your folks.
• Style for a lawn party – a cool, light, festive look.  Doesn’t have to be too dressy, but this is a perfect time to rock a bow tie or nice jewelry.
• This is your weekend – showoff, style and profile a little bit.
