Henrik Selin is a Core Faculty Member of the Global Economic Governance Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. He also serves as the Associate Dean for Studies and as a Professor at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University.
Selin also serves as Co-editor for the journal of Global Environmental Politics. His research and classes focus on global and regional politics and policymaking on environment and sustainable development. He is the author of the 2020 book Mercury Stories: Understanding Sustainability through a Volatile Element, which was named Runners-Up/Honorary Mention for the 2022 Harold and Margaret Sprout Prize for the Best Book in International Environmental Politics.
