Call for Symposia – American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene
Submit a symposium proposal for the ASTMH 65th Annual Meeting, November 13-17, 2016, Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, Georgia.
The Annual Meeting is the premier forum for the exchange of scientific advances in tropical medicine and global health. In 2015, nearly 4,100 current and future leaders in the field attended.
- Research Meets Real-World Experience – leaders in the field offer practical insights and strategic vision
- Global Perspectives – 104 countries represented: researchers, clinicians, young investigators, as well as leaders from philanthropy, business and NGOs
- Collaboration and Networking – pre-meeting courses, posters, exhibit hall and four days of concurrent sessions
Pay special attention to the membership requirements for the symposium organizer and symposium co-chair, as well as the $75 U.S. submission fee required for all proposals.
Symposia bring together attendees in a setting where experts discuss concepts and developments on a defined topic of general concern to the global health community. In contrast to scientific sessions, symposia provide a broad synthesized review of a given topic, with ample time for discussion among attendees
