This event brings together a diverse selection of industry and academic experts from the Boston area for an afternoon symposium. It encourages discussion about challenges and innovations in the financing and collaboration of pharmaceutical research and development, as well as improving the access to medicines around the globe. The first session will highlight opportunities of academic-industry partnerships and other new, innovative approaches to drug discovery. The second session focuses the discussion on new approaches to improving medication access around the world. The speakers and panelists will represent diverse viewpoints to stimulate discussion on how industry and academia can forge new partnerships and new models to overcome challenges and improve the public’s health.
