Incoming History Prof Dave Glovsky Wins ACLS Grant

Incoming Assistant Professor for African studies at the Department of History, Dave Glovsky, has been named an ACLS Centennial Fellow in the Dynamics of Place beginning January 2023. ACLS, or American Council of Learned Societies, is a nonprofit federation of 78 scholarly organizations and strongly supports scholarship in the humanities and related sciences. Glovsky’s project focuses on Alternative Geographies: Mobility, Citizenship and Autonomy in a West African Borderland. Read more about his his work with the scholarship here.
