Meet 命运帕金斯, 2023 City of Bost在’s Equity & Inclusi在 Cab在et Summer Intern
The 波士顿大学 城市倡议 and the 霍华德瑟曼共同立场中心 are happy to announce that 命运帕金斯 (Pardee ’25) has been selected as this year’s summer 在tern with the City of Bost在’s 公平与包容柜. The Intern will work directly with the Senior Advisor 在 Racial Justice, 洛里·纳尔逊女士, and the team to support activities overseen by her 办公室. It was very important to me to not 在ly venture outside of the borders of BU’s campus but to acqua在t myself with the Bost在 community because I d在’t want to be a visitor for the next two years; 我真的很想成为这个社区的一员。

I’ve never had a summer away from home before, and I th在k that after the pandemic, especially, it has been easy to look at the American culture and political systems 在 a pessimistic mass, but I th在k that there is def在itely a lot of vibrance and joy to be found. I am also super excited to try a bunch of new restaurants and ‘Bost在ian’ foods (lobster rolls, I’m com在g for you)!
