申请恢复F-1签证程序

申请F-1复职，请准备以下信息和文件。 一旦你有了所需的文件，与你的ISSO顾问预约。

  • 个人支票或汇票 payable to “U.S. Department of Homeland Security” for the i - 539的费用
  • 美国移民局I-539表格 – Complete the form as best you can, but leave items blank if you are not sure what to write. 在您的预约期间，您将被告知

  • 财务文件 – Prepare new and current financial documents to show you have sufficient funds to cover the current expenses for tuition, fees and cost-of-living for one academic year (9 months)
  • BU注册主任的注册验证 – Obtain a transcript of all course work completed, and also certification of your full-time enrollment for the current semester (or for the next semester if currently between semesters)

申请结果

批准 – If your reinstatement application is approved, USCIS will update your SEVIS record. 您的ISSO顾问将与您联系并安排时间重新签发新的I-20，以反映恢复批准，并回答您可能遇到的任何问题。

不是必需的 – If USCIS determines that your violation does not require reinstatement, they will send a notification to your ISSO advisor.

否认 – If you are denied reinstatement, you cannot appeal the decision and you must depart the U.S. as soon as possible. USCIS将向您的ISSO顾问发送书面通知，说明拒绝的依据。 根据拒绝的依据，您可能仍然可以申请新的I-20以新的F-1身份旅行并重新进入美国。
