有几个日期和里程碑将决定你的正式项目完成日期，以保存移民记录。 It’s important to be aware of your official program completion date so you can maintain your status.
本科生和澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究生
有三个标准的毕业日期。 You must register for graduation with the Registrar’s office. 当你注册剩下的课程时，确保你完成了学位的所有要求。
Your program completion date will be the University’s official graduation date for the semester in which you complete all program requirements. 如果你将在夏季完成你的学习计划，你必须在夏季学期注册，并在ISSO完成夏季注册。

- If you are a J-1 Scholar – refer to the ‘program-end date’ on your Form DS-2019
- If you have independent employment authorization from USCIS – refer to the dates on the authorization 文档. 文档
- If you are an H-1B scholar – use end date listed on your I-797 Form (note that exceptions apply)
Be sure to notify your host department to confirm your appointment end date, have your host department complete the 终止雇佣或活动通知 and work closely with the ISSO to be sure you comply with your immigration status regulations.

If you are at BU under our F-1 or J-1 sponsorship and will be ending your program or employment/ activity prior to the end date listed on your current immigration 文档, the ISSO will issue you an amended I-20 or DS-2019 文档 reflecting your actual program completion date. 请注意，许多毕业后的福利（如申请就业许可或项目转移）必须在你真正的项目结束日期之后的宽限期内发生。

If you’re planning to begin a new degree program at BU, you must have a new I-20 or DS-2019 issued for the new program before the end of your grace period. 要获得您的新文件，您必须：
