Now in its 14th year, the 春假 公益性服务 Service program sent students to work at nonprofit organizations across the country.
35名波士顿大学法律系学生利用春假在全国各地的法律服务组织做志愿者。 In its 14th year, the 春假 公益性服务 Service Trip program sent students to earn hands-on experience working with attorneys at public service organizations throughout Boston as well as in Arizona, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, and New York.

Well, usually that’s the case for me, but for some reason, I decided to apply for BU’s 春假 公益性服务 trips. 波士顿大学提供各种各样的旅行，以帮助那些需要法律服务的人。 底特律、凤凰城和新奥尔良等地是波士顿大学访问过的一些地区。 I decided to apply for one of the few Boston 公益性服务 placements mainly because I am thinking of staying here in Boston and want to get acquainted with the legal community. 我确实想去凤凰城体验温暖的气候，但那需要流利的西班牙语——我现在非常后悔在高中时选修了法语！

Now, those are the career reasons for doing the 公益性服务 experience with BU, but there is also the gratification you get from helping out your community. 我被分配到家事法庭和遗嘱认证法庭以及房屋法庭的法庭服务部门工作。 I shadowed attorneys all week and helped fill out paperwork for 箴se (self-represented) litigants. 这些人负担不起聘请高级律师为他们填写所有文件，以对抗驱逐、更改子女抚养费或申请离婚。 The court services center is relatively new and helps 箴se litigants fill out the paperwork correctly the first time so their cases don’t get dismissed and they don’t get the help they need. 这是一次有益的经历——情感上的消耗——但也是我一生中最有教育意义的一周之一。 你在法学院学到了很多东西，但没有你在现实世界中学到的多。
