Graduate students have many opportunities to conduct research in our department. One key opportunity is the Linguistics Graduate Research Forum (GRF), a series of regular meetings where students present their research and receive mentorship on academic and non-academic career paths. GRF is also a great place for practicing conference presentations. PhD students gain additional hands-on experience as research fellows, working with faculty members for three semesters during their program. Both MA and PhD students can also participate in faculty labs, where they collaborate on ongoing research in the department.
