The opening plenary of the Alliance for Global Sustainability’s (AGS’s) annual meeting at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) featured a panel discussion on the Nobel Award-winning contributions of the Intergovernmental panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The panel was moderated by Dr. Rajendra Pachuri, the Chairman of the IPCC and featured a number of IPCC authors, including Pardee Center Director, Dr. Adil Najam.

The lively discussion with IPCC veterans looked at why this global scientific assessment has been influential, what are the challenges still before the IPCC to address, and what are the possible future pathways before the IPCC. A video recording of the panel can be viewed here.
