Seminar: Atmospheric Pollution in Urban Areas: Implications for Air and Water Quality
The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future invites you to attend its upcoming seminar, “Atmospheric Pollution in Urban Areas: Implications for Air and Water Quality,” featuring Prof. Pamela Templer, an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and a Pardee Center Faculty Research Fellow. The seminar will be held at the Pardee Center at 67 Bay State Road on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm (lunch will be provided beginning at 11:30 am).
Pamela Templer, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Biogeoscience at Boston University. She is a biogeochemist who has published widely on the effects of air pollution, climate change, and urbanization on forest ecosystems, water and air quality. She and members of her lab currently work in temperate forests of the northeastern United States, redwood forests of California, and tropical forests of Mexico and Puerto Rico.
