Pardee Co-Sponsors Presentation of CAR Task Force Report in Brazil

The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future co-sponsored a presentation of the most recent Pardee Center Task Force Report titled, Capital Account Regulations and the Trading System: A Compatibility Review at the Institute for Applied Economic Research in Brasilia, Brazil on June 6. Pardee Faculty Fellow Kevin Gallagher spoke about the report, along with Task Force report authors Luiz Fernando de Paula, and Daniela Prates. Lead discussants for the session were Brazil’s chief financial services negotiator in international trade talks and the head of capital markets in the Brazilian Ministry of Finance.
