Pardee Graduate Summer Fellows Wrap Up Program
The 2016 Pardee Graduate Summer Fellows have reached the conclusion of the program at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future.
During the five weeks since the fellows gave their midpoint presentations to Pardee Center staff, post-docs, and affiliated faculty, they participated in three more faculty lunch discussions with Faculty Associate Henrik Selin (Pardee School of Global Studies) and Faculty Research Fellows Susan Foster (School of Public Health) and Pamela Templer (Biology). In addition, Pardee Center Visiting Research Fellows Pablo Suarez and Janot Mendler de Suarez — co-authors of a 2012 Pardee Center Task Force Report titled “Games for a New Climate: Experiencing the Complexity of Future Risks” — hosted a game session with the fellows in the final week of the program.
The fellows have submitted the final drafts of their research papers, which will now be reviewed and considered for the Pardee Center’s publication series.
