Prof. Adil Najam Speaks on International Environmental Law

Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future and Professor of International Relations and Geography and Environment, Prof. Adil Najam spoke on recent developments in international environmental laws at a seminar organized by the Pakistan Society for the Enhancement of the Rule of Law (SERL) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Islamabad, Pakistan, on October 23, 2010.

The seminar was attended by some 150 lawyers and speakers reviewed the state of environmental law in Pakistan and also globally. In his presentation, Prof. Najam focused on the how environmental law had developed in different countries in the world and laid out possible pathways for its future in Pakistan.
