Pardee Center Seminar: Disease and Development

The Pardee Center launches its new inter-disciplinary seminar series on key future challenges with a panel discussion on “Disease and Development” featuring BU profesors Jim McCann (History), Randy Ellis (Economics), and Jerry Keusch (Public Health).
The seminar series will focus on a variety of inter-disciplinary issues and invite experts from different disciplines to discuss the long-range challenges and trends in that particular issue.
The first seminar – titled Future Challenges: Disease and Development – will be on Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Pardee House (67 Bay State Road, Boston, MA 02215). The panel will include:
Prof. Jim McCann, Department of History and the Africa Studies Center, Boston University.
Prof. Randy Ellis, Department of Economics, Boston University.
Prof. Jerry Keusch, Global Health Initiative and School of Public Health, Boston University.
