Pardee Center Director in the media on Fair Trade, on HIV-AIDS, and on Pakistan

Prof. Adil Najam, the Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Longer-Range Future talks to the media on fair trade and on the future of Pakistan’s politics.
Al Jazeera English television interviewed Prof. Najam on the “Fair Trade” movement, particularly as it applies to coffee growers in Chiapas, Mexico. Prof. Najam pointed out that the problem is not that fair trade is not working but that there is not enough fair trade. he emphasized that the goal must be to make “all trade fair.”
Separately, the Indian journal Tehelka quotes Prof. Najam in a write-up on combatting HIV-AIDS in India.
Prof. Adil Najam has also been interviewed and quoted in various news stories on Pakistan’s ongoing political crisis and the country’s immediate political future.
