Pardee House Seminar: Beyond the Energy Crisis

The next Pardee House Seminar – the first of the academic year 2008-09 – will be held on September 22, 2008 at the Pardee House (67 Bay State Road, Boston, MA 02215), on “Future Challenges: Beyond the Energy Crisis.”
The lunch seminar will feature Prof. Cutler Cleveland, Prof. Uday Pal and Moeed Yusuf, who will discuss different aspects of the future of energy.
This seminar series focuses on a variety of inter-disciplinary issues and invite experts from different disciplines to discuss the long-range challenges and trends in that particular issue.
Prof. Cutler Cleveland is a Professor of Geography and Environment at Boston University, the editor of the Encyclopedia of the Earth, and a Pardee Center Faculty Fellow.
Prof. Uday Pal, is a Professor and Chair ad interim for Manufacturing Engineering at Boston University’s School of Engineering.
Moeed Yusuf is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Political Science at Boston Univeristy, a Graduate Research Fellow at the Pardee Center, and author of a forthcoming Pardee Center paper on the Future of Nuclear Energy.
