PHO Faculty Member Theodore Moustakas Elected to National Academy of Inventors

Photonics faculty member Theodore Moustakas has been elected as a charter fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, for the numerous patents that he has developed.  He is most well known for discovering the method used to create the blude, green, and white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) used in computer, televisions, and outdoor displays.  He is now working on ultraviolet LEDs.  For the full article in BU Today, please click here.
