BU Students Cover the Political Conventions for Local Media Outlets
In a program organized by department member Denise Baer as director of BU’s Study Abroad in Washington, six College of Communication students are in Tampa covering the Republican National Convention and another six will go to Charlotte to cover the Democrats’. As the BU Today explains, the students have access to the convention floors and are interviewing politicians and delegates. They are filing stories with local print and electronic media outlets.
