Spring 2024 Department Events
The Spring semester is here! BU Sociology has a new Seminar Series planned with three talks scheduled:
- Wednesday February 7th, Josh Seim (Boston College), Bandage, Sort, and Hustle: Ambulance Crews on the Front Lines of Urban Suffering, 12:00 pm, 96-100 Cummington Mall, Room 241
- Wednesday March 6th, Amrita Pande (University of Cape Town), Global fertility Industry and the Transnational Reproduction of Whiteness, 12:00 pm, 96-100 Cummington Mall, Room 241

And on March 28th, we are hosting our annual Albert Morris Lecture with Dr. Karida L. Brown, Professor of Sociology at Emory University, on Battle for the Black Mind. It will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Leventhal Center Auditorium, 233 Bay State Road.
