Needle Take-Back Day.

The Activist Lab is partnering with City Councilor Essaibi-George, Boston Public Health Commission, Mayor’s Office of Recovery Services, and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers to create Boston’s first Needle Take-Back Day on Thursday, April 25th. We are seeking at least 20 volunteers to assist the local community health centers in educating their clients about safe sharps disposal practices and show individuals how to use the disposal bins. There will be a mandatory training session for all volunteers provided by the Boston Public Health Commission. Additional details will be sent to volunteers directly. 

Let’s work together for proper needle and sharps disposal, keeping them off our streets and out of household trash.
