The sources of human flourishing are, within public health, often ignored or misunderstood. Rev. Dr. Jim Sherblom’s book Spiritual Audacity: Six Disciplines of Human Flourishing, employs his spiritual memoir to explore sources of human flourishing. The three SPH respondents will each explore from their own unique perspectives how diverse spirituality impacts public health.
“Jim manages something quite remarkable with this book: he throws himself headlong into life’s complexities and navigates his way through with grace, integrity, and compelling good humor.”—Sandro Galea, Dean and Robert A. Knox Professor, Boston University School of Public Health
