Faculty, MSW/MPH Students and Alumni to Present at APHA Annual Meeting in Boston

The Boston University School of Social Work is thrilled to announce that a number of faculty, MSW/MPH students and alumni are presenting at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting & Exposition, from Nov. 2-6, in Boston.

The School is also pleased to share that Clinical Associate Professor Betty J. Ruth has been selected to receive the Insley/Evans Public Health Social Worker of the Year Award from the Public Health Social Work Section of the American Public Health Association. The awards committee recognized Ruth for her years of service to the profession, her trailblazing role as an educator in the field of public health social work, and her steadfast efforts to increase the number of MSW/MPH dual-degree programs around the country. Ruth will be honored at the conference.
