Sprague Martinez Talks HIV and Viral Suppression at NIH Event, 9/16

For those interested in improving HIV care, don’t miss BUSSW associate professor Linda Sprague Martinez’s two-fold presentation at the upcoming NIH conference, Strengthening the Impact of Community Health Workers on HIV Care and Viral Suppression in the U.S.
Led by the National Institute of Nursing Research, the conference provides the opportunity for health professionals and researchers to bridge gaps in care that have made viral suppression of HIV ineffective. Sprague Martinez will present an overview of the role of community health workers in caring for HIV-positive individuals and a case study on clinic-based community health workers.
