Fall Faculty Updates: Ellen DeVoe, Assistant Professor

Professor Ellen DeVoe received a 4-year $4.434 million grant from the US Department of Defense for the Strong Families Strong Forces Project. The Interdisciplinary BU team includes Professor Devoe, Renee Spencer (SSW), Tim Brown (CARD/Psychology), Terry Keane (VA/CAP), and Brett Litz (VA/SS). The program was first developed and tested in the New England region with families in the National Guard/Reserve during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).  This project will be conducted at a large military base in Texas, in collaboration with the STRONG STAR CONSORTIUM, University of Texas Health Sciences Center and the RAND Corporation.
