Professor Hudson Delivers Keynote Address at Rose Institute Dedication
Professor Rob Hudson delivered the keynote address at the Benjamin Rose Institute in Cleveland, where the Institute’s research center was being named in honor of Sydney Katz, MD. Through his development of the activities-of-daily-living scale for assessing need for chronic care services, Dr. Katz revolutionized the long-term care field.
In his September 28 presentation, Hudson addressed the evolution of long-term care services over the past 30 years under the Older Americans Act and allied legislation. He also consulted with Institute and U.S. Administration on Aging officials while in Cleveland.
