Arthur E. Frankel, MD was born in Austin, Texas, attended Harvard College and Harvard Medical School and completed medical training at Yale University, the National Institutes of Health and Stanford University. He practiced and taught at Duke University, the Medical University of South Carolina, Wake Forest University, Texas A&M, the University of Texas Southwestern, and the University of South Alabama. He is now Chief Hematology and Oncology at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
His clinical focus is malignant hematology, cutaneous malignancies and GU cancers. He has done research including the discovery of the first mammalian oncogenes, the generation of the first Her2 and PSA monoclonal antibodies, the finding of one of the first second site revertant enzyme mutations, discovery of a third lectin binding site on the plant toxin ricin, production of anti-leukemia fusion proteins, and reporting the first gut microbes critical for melanoma immunotherapy response. His interleukin 3-directed fusion protein was approved by the FDA in 2018 for a rare type of leukemia. His current goal is to provide outstanding and cutting edge clinical care to veterans.

Dr. Khaled Deeb is an Associate Professor and global expert in computer science, medical informatics, and internal medicine holding two doctoral degrees. He has served as the program director and designed undergraduate and graduate programs in the research areas of business management, data mining, software engineering, and artificial intelligence.
He has published many articles in leading publications and chaired several conferences and workshops. He has also collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects and grants with various universities and government entities (e.g., CDC). He is a global expert consultant at both the private and public sectors in the fields of health services, business management, software, and technologies. He has earned several awards for scholarship, community service, professional service, and teaching excellence.
Dr. Deeb bridges traditional and contemporary medicine to develop highly unconventional approaches that revolutionize medical practice to help redefine the future of medicine and patient care through personalized medicine and intelligent healthcare informatics. His research goals are to improve well-being and aging by bringing together the science of medicine and bioinformatics.
